The Southern Regional Conference of Black Chambers provides technical assistance and support to Black Chambers and their member partners and institutions located in the southern region of the United States of America
We are seeking individuals who have an interest in this project, initiative, intervention, or effort. We believe strongly that involving the right individuals will lead to a better process, a better understanding of the whole context, more ideas at the table, buy-in and ultimately a more successful effort.
The needs assessment is a process for determining what you require or want to provide to appropriately address your needs. This will help us lay the foundation for planning and implementing any initiative by aligning resources with strategy and clarifying any potential opportunities or issues
During this phase of the planning process we want to ensure we establish a clear mission, address personal goals and objectives,build consensus, and move forward with a collective strategy for success.
This will provide us with a blueprint for running the project, initiative, intervention, or effort. To ensure we stay on task and aligned with our VMOS, the action plan must be:
- Complete-Does it list all the action steps or changes to be sought in all relevant parts of the community (e.g., schools, business, government, faith community)?
- Clear- Is it apparent who will do what by when?
- Current- Does the action plan reflect the current work? Does it anticipate newly emerging opportunities and barriers?
